Provide the artistic vision for working with artists and the museum’s collection to organize exhibitions, commissioned projects, public programs, and publications that support artists and strengthen engagement with audiences.

  • Develop and lead a curatorial vision for the Knight New Media Initiatives, a multi-year suite of exhibitions and programs funded with a $1.2M grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation to support artists who push limits of digital and material technologies. 

  • Curate solo exhibitions by Etel Adnan, Hernan Bas, Ulla von Brandenburg, Rachel Feinstein, Anne Duk Hee Jordan, (LA) HORDE, and Nam June Paik, and organize public talks by Stuart Comer, Isabelle Graw, John Hanhardt, Barbara London, and Legacy Russell.

  • Participate in meetings with the museum’s board and leadership to envision new facilities funded by a $21M bond from the City of Miami Beach. 

  • Increase donor engagement by collaborating with Development to organize programming for members.

  • Serve on Miami-Dade Art in Public Places Committee to consult on acquisitions and commissions.
